Overview

Global Star Digital is a full-service influencer marketing agency with offices in the US, Canada, and Shanghai. They work with over 220 global brands (DJI, Anker, Roborock, Ecovacs, EcoFlow, Bambu Lab among them), manage a proprietary network of 100,000+ creators, and run a team of 120+ people. They're a TikTok Marketing Partner, Amazon SPN partner, and Google Partner.

They brought in First Optimise to build a website that could match that scale and build their search presence.

  • Global Star Digital's new website: the section Recognized by platforms and industry partners
  • Global Star Digital's new homepage: A global influencer marketing agency built to scale
  • Global Star Digital's new website: the section Influencer marketing works best with structure
  • Global Star Digital's new website: the section Built to run influencer marketing at scale

The Challenge

Global Star Digital came to First Optimise because their website wasn't ranking. They wanted more search presence to support lead generation and brand credibility. After reviewing their existing site, we recommended a full rebuild. The technical foundation was too weak to support SEO on top of what was already there, and starting from scratch gave us the chance to build a site that matched their actual scale.

The Key Issues:

  • The site had only 4 pages. No service breakdowns, no industry pages, no content strategy.

  • There was no structure to serve both English-speaking and Chinese-speaking audiences from a single platform.

  • The JavaScript-heavy build meant search engines couldn't index the site properly, limiting organic reach

  • The site didn't reflect Global Star's actual capabilities. A 120-person agency with 220+ brand partners looked like a small startup online.

  • A separate legacy domain housed a Chinese-language site with no SEO setup, splitting the brand's digital presence across two properties.

The Strategy

We rebuilt the site around three priorities: make it technically sound for search engines, give it enough content depth to rank for the terms that matter, and structure it so that Global Star's three core audiences (brand clients, creators, and investors) each have a clear path to the information they need.

  • Server-Side Rendered, Performance-First Build

We built the new site with HTML and CSS, server-side rendered so search engines can read every page on first load. All animations are CSS-driven, so the site feels polished without sacrificing speed or crawlability.

  • Domain Consolidation and Migration

Global Star's digital presence was split across two domains: globalstardigital.com and globalstarasia.com. We migrated both into a single site with a cleaner structure, making sure existing content, pages, and any authority built on the old domains carried over properly. Redirects were set up so nothing was lost in the move. The result is one domain with a unified site structure that's easier for search engines to crawl and rank.

  • Site Architecture for Three Audiences

Global Star serves brand clients, creators, and investors. Each audience searches differently and needs different information before taking action. We built the site structure around that: service pages and industry pages for brand clients, creator recruitment and partnership pages for influencers, and credibility signals (team scale, client logos, case studies, media recognition) positioned for investors. Each audience has a clear path through the site to the right conversion point.

  • SEO-Driven Page Structure

The old site had 4 pages. The new site has a full hierarchy built around search intent: services broken out by platform (YouTube, TikTok, Instagram), industry pages (consumer electronics, fashion), a technology page for Global Star OS, case studies, and a blog. Every page targets keywords that prospects are actually searching for.

  • Bilingual Content

Both English and Simplified Chinese versions of the site were written natively for their audiences. The Chinese content speaks directly to Chinese-speaking brand clients, while the English site targets North American and global prospects. Proper hreflang implementation ensures Google serves the right version in the right market.

The Result

The site went from 4 pages to over 30 across both English and Simplified Chinese, each one designed with the kind of visual quality and polish you'd expect from a global agency. Service pages broken out by platform, industry pages, a dedicated technology section, creator recruitment, case studies, and a blog, all served in two languages with a design that reflects Global Star's actual scale and sophistication.

Organic traffic doubled within two months of launch, and people are now finding the site through non-branded search terms for the first time. Inbound enquiries from creators have started coming through the site, opening a new channel for Global Star's talent network.

  • Organic search traffic increased by 122% within two months of launch

  • Total website traffic grew by 126% in the same period

  • Site expanded from 4 pages to 30+ across two languages

  • Two legacy domains consolidated into a single, bilingual platform without losing existing authority

  • Visitors now finding the site through non-branded keywords, not just the company name

  • The full site architecture gives the site room to grow its search presence over time
